What is a ‘household community’?

A household community is formed between relatives or members of the conspiracy when they live together and “operate from one place” without the requirements of a community of needs.

Under certain circumstances, there is a presumption that relatives or cohabitants in a household community are mutually supportive. This means that their income and wealth are taken into account. This applies, however, only if the income or assets of the related or interrelated household members of the household are expected to be mutually taken into account.
